THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AUTHORITY HAS PUBLISHED THE “GUIDE ON PRODUCTIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (15 QUESTIONS)”

On November 24, 2025, the Personal Data Protection Authority (“Authority”) published the “Guide on Generative Artificial Intelligence and the Protection of Personal Data (15 Questions)” (“Guide”). The Guide provides descriptive and explanatory information on Generative Artificial Intelligence (“AIA”) and provides guidance on evaluating the impact of artificial intelligence systems on the protection of personal data, promoting an approach that respects individual privacy in the development and use of these systems, and guiding actors who are data controllers in terms of personal data processing activities carried out throughout the life cycle.
