Semih Metin specializes in capital markets legislation, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and litigation and enforcement.

He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1997. Between 1999 and 2012 he served at the Capital Markets Board as Legal Expert and Senior Legal Expert, taking an active role in the work on Capital Markets Law No. 6362 and its secondary legislation.

Since 2012, at İstanbul's leading law firms, he has provided comprehensive services to domestic and foreign clients in domestic and international public offerings, bond and securities issuances, publicly held companies, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance programs.

Between 2018 and 2020 he headed the legal department of a leading Turkish media group. He has a good command of English.

Av. Seval Çiçek is a founding and managing partner of MC Legal. Her principal areas of expertise are technology and data law (personal data protection and cybersecurity), regulatory compliance, and alternative dispute resolution — mediation and arbitration. She provides strategic advisory to national and international companies in these fields.

In dispute resolution she serves both as mediator and arbitrator: since 2020, as a mediator registered with the Ministry of Justice Registry of Mediators and as an arbitrator of the TOBB Court of Arbitration, she has taken part in commercial, employer-employee, consumer, and banking and finance disputes.

She combines public regulatory experience with private-sector expertise. After graduating from Istanbul University's English-language Business Administration program, she served for more than five years as a Social Security Inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; the numerous reviews, audits and investigations she conducted enable her to bring a regulatory-authority perspective to companies' compliance processes.

After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2017, she has provided advisory and general counsel services to national and international companies in personal data protection, IT and technology, commercial and intellectual property law, and employment and social security law. She is a volunteer member of the Law and Artificial Intelligence working group within the Artificial Intelligence Initiative of Türkiye.
